Time of Trouble Prayer

Now about that juxtaposed relationship of the church. We see everyday how the church blesses so many people… in providing food, comfort, financial support, and spiritual encouragement, direction, and wisdom… and the list goes on. We sometimes have to marvel at all the church is able to accomplish through the power of Jesus Christ and in His Name.

Yet, there is a brokenness within…where we’re shackled in our faith. Instead of being free in our salvation, we’re shackled to the pew – so-to-speak – with doubt, fear, sin, unbelief, condemnation, traditions and rituals, works, preferences… and the list goes on. We haven’t had an encounter with Jesus!

We’re missing the Presence of and Relationship with God! Do you desire to be free from that which binds you, which shackles you, which keeps you from experiencing the Joy and Peace and Power and Confidence of knowing the Father? God desires it as well. No matter how long you’ve been a Christian – or if you’ve not yet place your faith in Jesus – it isn’t too late to begin to know Him who created and sustains you, who loves you more than you can fathom and for everlasting!
