WELCOME TO

In the Time of Trouble

4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
9 Hide not thy face far from me… Psalm 27, 4-9

About Us

In March 2020, the Lord put the phrase In the time of trouble on my heart.  While looking up the phrase in Bible, I came across Psalm 27:5 and as reading through, I saw 27:8 (Thy face, Lord, will I seek). These combined the two things on my heart…. Prayer and God’s desire that we seek His face, seek HIM. The world is focused on seeking His hand and have reduced prayer to a litany of requests when it is so MUCH more! In the Time of Trouble website was created in response to the times we are in and a desire for all people to seek God’s face.

Will you join me in seeking Him? Pastor Greg will post Biblical Truths that we can rely on and will encourage us in these troubling times. I will hold a time of weekly prayer for us to seek Him, to know Him.

Each month, I will provide you information to help you focus your prayers as you grow to know and love Him.  I will also feature different people from around the world being God’s hands and feet.

I am neither a writer nor a theologian. I am just a sinner who has been saved by God’s grace and love for me. I hope you will join me as we draw near to the one who created us, who loves us, and who desires us to know and to be in relationship with Him.

Whether or not you are believer of Christ, join us as we learn about the God of the Bible, this God of love, mercy, and truth. We desire a forum for people to come to know and to love the Truth that is Jesus Christ. Where we can draw near to God and seek His face but to also come alongside you in prayer!

Time of Trouble Thoughts

… the latest thoughts on prayer and seeking Him.

Psalm 10

Why [Lord] hideth thyself in the times of trouble?

The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor
The wicked boasts of his heart’s desire
The wicked (because of pride) will not seek the Lord
The wicked’s ways are always grievous
The wicked’s mouth is full of cursing and deceit
The wicked sitteth in the lurking places
The wicked is privily (confidentially/secretly) against the poor
The wicked lieth in wait to trap the poor
The wicked saith in his heart that God will not see

Why does the wicked contemn (despise, disregard, scorn) God?

For….

The Lord has seen it

The Lord will require it

The poor committeth unto the Lord

The Lord is the helper of the fatherless

The Lord is King forever and ever

The Lord perishes the wicked out of the land

The Lord has heard the desire of the humble

The Lord will prepare their hearts

The Lord will hear

The wicked may no more oppress

Time of Trouble Prayer

Have you ever thought about how the church is juxtaposed between helping people with both their physical needs and setting them free from the bondage of sin; yet, remains in bondage itself?
