Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God. Born of the Virgin Mary. Fully God and fully man, He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross, shedding his blood for the remission of sins. On the third day he rose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the author and finisher of our faith.
