Sin is rebellion against God. God created Adam and Eve in his own image. By disobedience, they fell from their sinless state (original sin) through the temptation by Satan and now the “whole world is a prisoner of sin” The problem is sin in the human heart, which God alone can change. “The blood of Jesus Christ [God’s] Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7, Galatians 3:22).
