I’m reminded that He is always moving and working whether or not we see it with our eyes. During Easter, we remember the work of the cross and the victory of the resurrection. By His work (not ours) we are saved. He secured the eternal destiny of “whosoever”, be it a “thief on the next cross over” crying out in his final moments, or those who follow The Way from their early years, the “pay” at the end is the same, an eternity where everything is made new, sin and death are vanquished, and all tears are wiped away. Are we there yet? Not by a long shot. But Jesus is The Way there. This week reminds me that sometimes, the darkest night yields the brightest dawn. Forever grateful for the Son rise.
