The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Triune God and is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. By justification and adoption, we are given a right standing before God; by regeneration, sanctification, and glorification our nature is renewed. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation, and He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily and to be filled with His presence and power. We believe the gifts of the Spirit are available to believers today (I Corinthians 3:16; John 16:7-13; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; I Corinthians 12).
